I visited the club at lunch time today and just happened to have a look at how the removal of the top green was progressing (thanks Warren for the heads up).
Well, as you can see from the video, there was plenty of action. The turf cutter had done its job and now the bobcat was ripping the grass (dead as a dodo) up.
It certainly doesn't take much to fill the bobcat scoop, and with the truck in the car-park, the longest part of the job is the driving back and forth to the truck.
Current expectation is to have the tiffdwarf runners in place by end of the week. The green be watered frequently to give the cuttings the best chance to establish.
Hopefully the weather is good to us - a little rain with warm nights.
